Test Preparation for British Citizenship - Life in the United Kingdom (UK)

If you are planning to become a British Citizen or apply to live permanently in the United Kingdom (UK) then taking the Life in the UK Test will be one of your first steps. Many of the facts that you need to learn for the test relate to laws and regulations determined and administered by the government.

Who has to take the test?


' You should take the test if you are applying for naturalisation as a British citizen or indefinite leave to remain (settlement) and your level of English is ESOL Entry 3 or above. If your level of English is lower than ESOL Entry 3 and you wish to apply for naturalisation or indefinite leave to remain, you will need to attend combined English language (ESOL) and citizenship classes instead.'

ESOL can be undertaken from Level 1 to Level 3.

Duration: Class attendances vary according to the level of English. Some students attend for 4/6/8/10 weeks.

Time: Monday - Friday 10am - 4.00pm
